lijah Reed is the winner of a drawing for a free bowling ball. Elijah was one of the first 10 kids to sign up for the December version of our Kids Bumper Bowling Program. By being one of the first 10 he was entered into the drawing.
Next BBP will start the 3rd week of January. Total cost for the entire 4 week course is just $29.95 and bowlers can choose from disco bowling on Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m. starting 1/18/12 or Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. starting 1/21/12. Aleigh Adelsperger is the winner of the RR Donnelley Turkey Bowl "Pizza a Week for a Year" contest. The prize was donated by Dynasty Lanes for this years event. Hope your hungry Aleigh!
Girls do well while boys teams struggle at SBABC Conference Tournament
The Girls JV Team takes first place at the tournament with Jourdan Hall, Marcy DeLaCruz and Kaitlyn Craft finish with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd high 3 game series in the event. The wins a plaque and the bowlers medals.
The Girls Varsity comes in 3rd place just 2 pins shy of 2nd place and medaling in the team event. Sarah Napier finishes with the 4th high 3 game series (483) good enough to give her a medal for All-Conference Team. Dani Bruner misses All-Conference Team by 1 pin finishing in 6th place.
The Boys JV finishes in 6th place. Ryan Gecks has high 3 game total for the team and 5th high of all bowlers with 493.
Daren Mull takes 2nd high series of all Varsity Boys bowlers with a 609 and gets a scholarship worth $130 plus a medal. The team finishes in 7th place beating only St. Joe of Fremont.
65th Annual Willard USBC BA City Tournament Jan. 19th to Jan. 28th
Entry forms for the tournament is now located at the Dynasty Lanes control counter. Team, Doubles, and Singles Events will be held. People bowling in all 3 are automatically entered into All-Events. The officers of your association request that all entries be paid by Monday Jan. 16th at 10 p.m.. Late and walk-in entries will be accepted if lanes are available but will be turned down if lanes are filled.
Remember that the Hamilton-Smith Insurance Monday 6:30 p.m. and Noble Roman's Pizza Wednesday 6:30 p.m. Party Night League skips bowling Jan. 23rd and 25th to allow teams to bowl Team Event. If you are not bowling in the tournament that week you do not bowl.
The Association will be adding approximately $1000.00 into the prize fund. Cost per person per event is just $12 and $2.50 of that money also going into the prize fund.

Lewis Sims and Alex Lillo make the front cover of Bowling Center Management Magazine in the December issue. The plaque is now on display at Dynasty Lanes near the air hockey game. The Bowling Proprietors Association of America also sent a plaque with just the front cover on it and it is located on the Noble Romans's Pizza/bar side.
Geoffrey Goulden is "Bowler of the Month" Dec. 2011
Geoffrey bowls on Monday afternoon in the Buckeye Central High School League and was averaging 89 pins per game at the end of November. At the end of December Geoffrey was averaging 14 pins higher at a 103 per game.
During December Goulden had 3 game series of 389, 341 and 326 which included a high game of 152.

Daniel has a 139 average and Dennis a 132 average. 4 Traditional Leagues start the 2nd half of the season soon and several new short season leagues for adults, youth, bumper kids and adult/youth from 1 to 9 weeks long begin soon.
