The pictures below tell the story of great times and sad times at Dynasty Lanes as we honor champions and dearly departed friends.

GREAT TIMES
In 2005 Josh Mull became Ohio USBC BA State Champion in the scratch singles division, just 2 years later in 2007 Jim Mosley took top honors in HDCP Singles division.

In 1975 the Keggler team consisting of Rusty Taylor, Charles King, Kevin Polachek, Scott Nelson and James Miller won the A.J.B.C. Youth State Championship. 24 years later the team of Klye Blanton, Catie Luna, Benn Lillo and Matt Lillo took top honors in the Y.A.B.A. Youth State Championship.

SAD TIMES
Cy Reed could be found at Dynasty Lanes bowling with his son Bob on the Monday Night League, with the senior citizen groups that gathered on Friday nights and Tuesday afternoons or coaching his young grandchildren Cody or Jacob on Saturday mornings or during practice times during the week. He would even stop in just to say Hi.

When Cy passed it was hard on all that knew and loved him. The Willard Mens Bowling Association (now the Willard USBC BA) started the Cy Reed Memorial Tournament to honor a true friend.

Soon we lost another bowler and friend, Fred Sims father of Lewis Sims, grandfather of Steven and Nikki Sims. In one year Fred bowled as many 9 winter leagues, 2 summer leagues and bowled with the seniors twice a week. In his spare time he went practice bowling.

Best known for his love of the game Fred once had a heart attack and checked himself out of the hospital just to bowl league that night.

The tournament was now called the Cy Reed/Fred Sims Memorial Tournament.

Dan Pugh would spend his lunch time at he bowling center even after finding out about the cancer that would one day take his life. Each year Dan would bowl in multiple leagues and his friendly outgoing personality made coming to the lanes a pleasure.

The tournament now became the Reed/Sims/Pugh Memorial Tournament. Soon others would pass and the name was finally changed to just the Memorial Tournament. All of the bowlers now have their pictures on display on a wall at the lanes and here at this site to help keep their fond memories alive in the hearts of the people who knew them.
